  1. Peter says:

The flashlight with the most inconsistent performance and features that I have.
What it advertises and what it delivers:
10 lumens in low mode. 1 real lumen. 5 would be acceptable.
550 lumens in medium mode. Barely 400 or less real.
1200 lumens in high mode. About 1000 real.
That in one minute it drops from 1000 to 300 is a farce.
Almost 51,000 candles and 450 meters of range. Is it a joke or is it a scam?
A tail light that can only be turned off if you unscrew the head.
A weak and useless RGB light. Why doesn’t it have a separate red, green and blue mode?
A charging system that renders the flashlight useless while it is charging.
A UI that sometimes fails and does not memorize.
As for the real operating durations, well, given what I’ve seen with the lumens it declares, I don’t believe them either.

    Pros.
Exquisite workmanship. The threads came very dry, but with some Vaseline, they improved a lot.
A very well made and very firm clip.
In green it is really pretty.
Short tube for 18350 battery. If you have one of these batteries, you have two flashlights in one (although the short tube does not support the clip, but it does support a cord).
    How should it be improved?
    With a more reliable UI.
    With separate RGB colors.
Since it does not meet the lumens it announces, at least a 50-100 lumen mode between low and medium mode. Going from 1 to 400 lumen is neither useful nor comfortable.
A smoother descent from high mode.
And please, Astrolux do not lie so blatantly about performance. That benefits no one.

Thank you very much for the review.
